The location was perfect, being just a stone's throw away from Bedale center and only two doors down from a pub. The proximity to the picturesque Yorkshire countryside made it an ideal getaway destination. The cottage itself had everything we needed for a weekend stay, with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom stocked with toiletries and lovely towels. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The added touches, like the tea and biscuits, made us feel welcome and cared for. being right next to a supermarket made it easy for us to stock up on supplies. Even our furry friend felt special with the treats provided for our dog. We also appreciated the helpful neighbors and their kindness in allowing us to park our car. The nearby attractions, such as Masham, Leyburn, and Brimham Rocks, offered gorgeous walks and memorable experiences. we would highly recommend Granny Vera's @ Marigold Cottage for an unforgettable stay in this charming area.

I had a blast hiking and cycling in the area, and the towels in the holiday home were a true highlight of my stay. So fluffy, they made me feel like I was being hugged by a cloud.

Oh, how I adored the towels, but I really missed having a towel-folding class. Who doesn't want to learn the art of towel origami during their vacation?

Hiking and cycling activities nearby: I felt like a real adventurer, exploring the picturesque trails and soaking in the beautiful scenery. It was like being transported into my very own nature documentary, minus the David Attenborough narration.

Early morning noise from deliveries: Some mornings, I woke up thinking I was part of a very intense percussion concert. If you're a heavy sleeper or have acquired the uncanny ability to sleep through chaos, then this won't be an issue for you.

As women travelling alone, we loved the convenient location near Bedale centre and the charming Yorkshire countryside. the cottage was comfortable, well-equipped, and had a real fireplace that added to the cozy atmosphere. It was like stepping back in time - a perfect getaway!

It felt like it was our own home, with nothing being too much trouble.

Our dog also enjoyed the dog treats provided. Bedale had plenty of dining options and we had a great trip to the National Railway Museum in York with our grandsons. It was a beautiful little cottage and the perfect location for a getaway. the cottage was comfortable and well-stocked, with a kitchen full of utensils and a bathroom with toiletries and lovely towels. the bed was very comfy too. We would definitely stay here again.
